A topographer friend named Enrique gave his friend Alberto our address and suggested he get a Deepers model since he had one and has been very satisfied with the results.

Before getting his
Deepers, Alberto already had one detector in his closet. Many had told him wonders about his Sovereign from the Minelab Company, but he never found anything deeper than 30 cm during two years of intense searching, even thought the publicity affirmed that this “marvelous” machine worked with 15 different frequencies and could localize a buried object over 1.5 m deep.

Taking advantage of a long weekend, Alberto went with his friend to investigate a segment of highway construction that would be covered in asphalt in the following few months.

After a couple of hours and only finding a few little things, his
Deepers gave off a distinctive signal that let them know that there was a deep target.

The Find:

With picks and shovels, Alberto and his friend Enrique excavated the calcareous and very brittle earth in that spot. From time to time, Enrique would go over the spot with the Round search coil to make sure the target was in the right spot. As the hole got deeper, the echo got stronger, until they found a copper container. They dug it out but unfortunately, it had nothing inside.

Although they were very let down, they were happy that this discovery confirmed the effectiveness of the
Deepers. As proof of this test they took photos measuring the depth of the excavated site were the container was found: One meter deep!

Maybe next time the discovery will be a good one. It is a thing of patience, but at least they know that if they go over a target they will find it for sure.
